In the Netherlands, together with the Dutch government and Tata Steel’s Indian parent company have signed a Joint Letter of Intent that marks an important step towards cleaner and future-proof steel production – developed in-house and in the Netherlands. The JLOI sets out agreements on targets, financing, and timelines, designed to create a healthier living environment and reduce CO2 emissions by over 40%. This joint signing demonstrates their shared belief in the course of more sustainable steel production in the Netherlands, also known as the Green Steel Plan.
