In India, BioEnergy Times reported that Egyptian Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly officially opened the “Kemet for Integrated Industries” ethanol production plant in the Sokhna Industrial Zone.
Romani Nabil Emmanuel, the head of the plant, provided details about the new facility. He explained that the $4 million factory was built on a 1,575-square-meter site and specializes in producing high-grade ethanol and industrial alcohol. The plant is expected to make approximately 2 million liters each year.
“We use molasses from Egyptian sugarcane and beet,” the executive said.
